@NINJAinTIGHTS that deosn;t really show much other then the dog is Alert & ready, ive seen many Hunting Curs put many Great Gaurds to shame, a few of those indivuals were Rotties and bullmastiffs.a dog hyped up is more of the convinceing one to stand & Deliver.

@DogSoldier011 Well one of my friends has a Rott named Ares and I’ve seen him ready to fight local pitbull thats was showing aggression towards him. He was kinda like the dog in the clip: he leaned forward, the hair on his back straightened up but he did bark. He only barks when he is in protection mode. I find this behavior a lot more intimadating that barking and jerking around a lot. Shows the dog is completely concentrated on a threat.

@NINJAinTIGHTS it would be a whole differnt story if it was a real sistuaion tho, pitbull & gsd looked pretty Tenacious well the rottie was quite. would he be has hyped up as the gsd & pitbull when facing a threat or would he be quite ? i would go for the hyped up dogs

@DogSoldier011 True but this comparison was made with medium-large dog breeds in mind so those dogs really don’t qualify. Other than that I love how both the Pitbull and GSD are barking and being super anxious before they leto them go but the Rott just stands there silent until he is let go.

@5toneg I say that because that was a very poor example of a Kangal…I can tell you from experience with my 2 CAO’s that a good LGD will not run away from a small pit or any other threat for that matter …when my male CAO was only 10 months old he over powered an adult rottie that went to attack my female GSD by knocking the rottie over then grabbing it by the throat and shook the rottie like a rag doll until I pulled him off it.

also these dogs could bite harder with something smaller. in the video of the mastiff biting at 500 it’s a small little thing he bites. dogs bite a lot harder when they use their back teeth. that is what they use to crack bones. and a big sleeve like this they aren’t going to bite as hard as a little thing.

@germanshepherd435 thats your opinion. i had a gs/akita mix i liked but gs owners make up lies as much as pitbull owners. i saw one video of some guy claiming gs’s bite at 700 lol there are other factors and all of these dogs could probably bite a little harder but neither pit or gs is gonna bite much more than 300 if that. the akita/gs mix i had probably could but his head was bigger

thats not the hardest bite recorded either. thre is a video of a mastiff at like 5 someting. but they could have found a rottweiler w a bigger head that could do 4 something easily. this dogs head isnt even that big for most rottweilers. i’ve read dog trainers saying some bite harder than boerboels n it depends on the dog
